Getariako Txakolina Hondarrabi Zuri
Fresh, uncomplicated, easy sipper. Lemonade with a bit of add-on. Lemon juice, green apple, a bit of oyster shell too. The palate is fresh, vertical, with great lemon juice notes all along and a tiny sweet spot in the rear. The mouthfeel is electric and the finish is not so long but super fresh and easy going with lemon and green apple notes. It's a no brainer. I could picture myself hand-fishing truits in wild basque mountain streams in summer and sipping on this on the side. (I did it once as a kid and it's a very fond memory 😁).

May 26th, 2018Nose of citrus and lighter stone fruits, ending with wet slate. Crystal clear pale golden. Light bodied and a bit tart. Not my favorite txakoli but generally enjoyed it.
