Delicious big right bank Boudreaux. Brick to violet color. Nose of black cherry jam, tobacco, mushrooms, and licorice. Big and expressive. Great fruit and soft tannins, slight vanilla, baking spices, and a bit of burnt caramel. — 7 years ago
Deep inky purple. Nose of dark fruit, toasted oak, prune, and maybe cacao beans. Medium body and bright acidity. Slightly hot. Dark fruit, maybe stewed plum, and baking spices. Solid value crianza from RdD. — 7 years ago
Nose of citrus and lighter stone fruits, ending with wet slate. Crystal clear pale golden. Light bodied and a bit tart. Not my favorite txakoli but generally enjoyed it. — 7 years ago
Nose of leather and licorice with somewhat subdued fruit. Medium body. More fruit forward in the mouth with pronounced minerality. Good value Pomerol. — 7 years ago
