This Nerello Mascalese with a dash of Carricante shows a bouquet of peaches in cream offset by citrus-tinged florals and smoky minerals, then opens to reveal silky richness, leaning toward the savory spectrum, teeming with brisk acids and a hint of spice. Top-notch acidity and great fruit, with a volcanic stone profile. Pale salmon colored. Great rosé, close to a bold white.

An excellent Etna Rosato. This has the freshness you seek from a sipper combined with an depth of a food rose. Minerality, some smokiness and red fruits drive the nose and on palate it turns more round and fleshier with bright acidity keeping the wine firm. A great Rosato form a completely new producer to me. Taking in to consideration this is 2017 so who says Roses won't stand some bottle age?

Nice, with the elements you’d expect from an Etna Rosso (one of my favorite appellations). It’s a bit thin, though.
