Absolutely love this wine. Tight upon opening. Gained texture and fruit after an hour decant. The nose is highly aromatic and stupidly complex. Began to deteriorate after five hours in a decanter.

Really intense, perfumed nose but this bottle lacks the intensity I’ve had from other old Bordeaux. Did not think it lived up to my expectations

1982 Chateau Mouton Rothschild. Drank at dad’s birthday dinner at Carl. This was epic. I was super pleased- it drank as he had hoped. Balanced and smooth.
