Sixth and final round of tasting and we all went 0-3 on the reds. This one was so maddeningly obvious. The dill!
Deep ruby color that is thick as tar, there is an enormous amount of vanilla and jammy over-ripened black fruit. Lacking some of the floral notes I’d expect in. Reserva, it makes up for it with eucalyptus and leather, a touch of mint, and plenty of balsamic. There’s also an earthy mushroom thing happening. Moderate tannins, low acids. Plenty of alcohol.

Solid acidity and aromas. Enjoyable in 20 min or an hour in the decanter. Suggest to monitor closely. A lovely wine bargain.

Dark ruby core and lower than expected acid leads me to believe the fruit was harvested rather late. Hits all the check marks - finish is med (-) - enjoyable

Dec 17th, 2017The sticker on the bottle says 95+, but that's a bit rich. It's good, though. Sold with strict instructions to decant for at least an hour and that turned out to be absolutely necessary. Tannins still firm, but air brings out lots of coca and dark cherry.

Deep cheery colour. Notes of cherry and port. Smooth taste with black currant and plumbs with almost no noticeable tannins. Short, soft finish. Fantastic!

Capa media baja, densidad media, en nariz predomina la vainilla, pan tostado y pimienta negra. En boca muy correcto pero con poca sorpresa, final agradable.
