Jul 2nd, 2017Flavors of roasted hazelnuts and almonds. Savory hint of salty peaches. Smell of Pound cake on the nose. Creamy texture. Dry and complex. 21.5% alcohol but did not seem "hot." Paired beautifully with Jamon Iberico! Outstanding!!

Jan 4th, 2017It shows a decent complexity with aromas of almonds, hazelnuts, caramel, coffee, cocoa and prunes, however after swirling the wine solvent-like ethyl acetate aromas dominate and mask all other notes.
Dry in the mouth, it is full-bodied and quite concentrated with a warm but balanced alcohol and a long finish.
It would be outstanding of the volatile acidity were not a bit over the top.
