Apples on the nose, bone dry and very oxidised. Not sure I would buy this but it paired amazingly well with creamy fatty fish — 5 years ago

Orange Toffee nose, briny metallic palate. Long and utterly refreshing.

Deep dark red, delightful wine. Dry, full-bodied wine with a hint of sweetness one would expect from a wine produced in southern Spain. Pairs well with cheese, fruit, crusty bread and your favorite Italian or Spanish entree. Tasted as good a day later surprisingly, as most wine I have tried do not.
Purchased through WSJ wine club in a mixed case in Dec. 2019. — 6 years ago
Wine of the night for us. Goosebumps. Extraordinary depth and presence. Vital, powerful. As these sherries age, they seem to grow in complexity without any of the effects of old age—no softening or weakness. Brillant wine tasted in the bodega cellar. A memorable experience. — 7 years ago

Boozier than most, but a great Mz — 2 years ago
Phenomenal wine with intense flavor concentration dominated by secondary bio characteristics and elevated with vibrant salinity and subtle oxidation. Prominent texture and body differentiates it from others in its class. An outstanding wine that I’ll be buying again! $24.99/375ml — 2 years ago
Rich, slightly sweet, cherry and orange — 4 years ago

ESF
ask the wine guy for something unusual, something off the beaten path and he recommends this delicious dry 100% Palomino w/some bottle age: definitely a food wine, light greenish straw color w/fairly austere nose full of minerals, lanolin, herbaceous musk, white flowers (jasmine), ginger & some spices. on palate it is rigid & angular, zesty acidity, some citrus but mostly minerals & herbs, quinine, screams for briny foods - we had this w/deli section fare & salad. — 8 months ago
