Yes, it’s that time of the year!
Typical PX aromatics - dried prunes, raisins, figs & fig jam, candied orange peel, quite fresh though, with the alcohol a bit uplifting and noticeable.
Very sweet on the palate, more acidity would be refreshing and inviting a second glass. Here - one is enough.

A treat with cheesecake, but a bit treacly. Would love a touch more acidity. Delicious, but only once a year #diabetes

Is there a better pairing with cheesecake than Pedro Ximenez? Viscous, raisiny, delicious.

Very nice! Caramel on the nose and dry, sweet figs on the palate. Perfect dessert tipple.
