Banshee’s 2015 Pinot Noir (Sonoma County) is gorgeous. Ripe dark cherry, plum, spice and leather are front and center. Drink this juicy, exuberant Sonoma Pinot over the next handful of years. (AG)

Sweet oak overpowering what was likely some nice fruit. Decent basic Pinot, and likely very good for those with a Cali pinot bent.

Very good. Paired with ... well this was a weird food night cause the kids had pizza delivered by the time I got home and I had planned organic beef burgers so this was paired with cheeseburger (American cheese, Dijon mustard, no bun) and two slices of pizza.

I give this a 10 for the price point. “Go-to” choice for a dinner wine through the week. I love the light Smokey notes with the dark cherry. Pairs nicely with dark chocolate or I love it with grilled pork chops and Brussels sprouts.

Black cherry, Greek yogurt, caramel, and light smoke all folded in a principled structure! The nose is especially amazing with its piercing cherry jam notes. Dry and elegant, perfect for a special occasion!
