Geelong Pinot Noir

Bit funky and tired in the nose but plenty of sweet fruit left on the palate.

Excellent spice and structure

Holding up exceptionally well. A beautifully layered wine.

Very savoury nose. Palate is sweet with intense dark fruit and spices but without enough acid to balance the opulent fruit character. Mouth coating and long, but a but heavy handed.

Lovely depth and coated silky feeling wine.. full of fruit.. maybe a touch on the sweet side for me but finished with relish!

Earthy

Smoky, woody gamey, incense scent notes, light bodied slight acid

12 year old Pinot. From the start I'm shaking my head. The cherry nose is unbelievably strong. Sweet cherry nose - one of the most amazing smells I've ever had. Strong alcohol for a Pinot 13.5%. Flavours are over-powering - strongly over-powering - cherry - acid still there and a long longer. So unexpected - Gary Farr - hats off and bowing - how do you do this? I think this is amazing! Personally a little more subtle would get a better rating from me - 3/7/9 = 19.5 out of 100 = 93
