In 1978 John and Harry Mariani, owners of U.S. wine importer Banfi Vintners, established the vineyard estate and winery Castello Banfi in the Brunello region of Tuscany. Deep Ruby with sweet red fruit aromas. On the palate, cherry and raspberry with leather notes and dry grainy tannins. Nice acidic balance medium finish, good value.
