At a price point of $10-$12, you can't go wrong with this sipper which brings together the tangy, spicy, red berry flavors of Sangiovese, the black fruits and tannins of Cabernet Sauvignon, and the softer roundness of Merlot. Drink this with spicy, meat dishes, including pasta and pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and salumi. (sample)

None of my normal formal notes other than to say the evolution in 5L was better than expected. It was nicely, softened, round with good complexity & elegance.
Sweet & sour cherries, blueberries, stewed plums, saddlewood, soft tarry notes, bright dark, red with hints of blue florals. Exceeded my expectations.
Paired well with my heavy meat red sauce. Guests seem to enjoy both as they are both gone!
Photos of, the party in our friends amazing backyard and Hedy’s tasty appetizers.
Happy 60th James!
