Other than Ridge, we are not partial to Zin, but this is a cut above the rest.

Dark fruit, plums, and spice on the nose. Sharp, spicy fruit with bold tannins and tart, spicy finish. Solid zin.

Cherries, blackberries, fruit crumble, and a hint of leather on the nose. Cherry, cassis, graphite, white pepper, and a hint of earthiness on the palate. Not as much of a fruit bomb as earlier vintages. But like prior vintages, better with food.

Fruit bomb. Attacks the palate with fruit and alcohol. Needs to be balanced with appropriate food.
