Pepper, cherry, and a touch of cinnamon. Was a nice complement to the duck breast, had enough acidity to hold up to the fat.

Cherries, blackberries, fruit crumble, and a hint of leather on the nose. Cherry, cassis, graphite, white pepper, and a hint of earthiness on the palate. Not as much of a fruit bomb as earlier vintages. But like prior vintages, better with food.
