Renieri Rosso di Montalcino Sangiovese

Red fruit. Medium acidity and tannins. Graphite. Solid wine at this price point. Becoming a fan of rosso.

A bit of a disappointment for a. I bought a couple bottles and My impression after opening the second one is the same as it was for the first. As a Rosso de Montalcino, I would have expected it to be more full-bodied, taking more advantage of the Sangiovese varietal. This just wasn’t to be. Banfi makes a vastly superior Rosso de Montalcino in my opinion.

Ruby red. Fruity aroma. Smokey & chewy forward. Dry on the end. Very enjoyable Tuscan. $20 Total Wine. James Suckling 90 pts

Bold front end flavor of Berries.

So good, great value. Pnp. Like a baby brunello. Smooth easy drinking but complex enough especially great is the price at $17

Sweet cherry and mixed berries provide a mouthful of fruit without sacrificing elegance. A gentle touch of spice, licorice, and wood covers the roof of the mouth; balanced acidity for consumption with food. Very nice, one of the better Rosso di Montalcino offerings that I have tasted in a long time.

Cigar, cigar box, dark cherry l, Asian spice on the nose. Medium/full tannins, smokiness, dark cherry on the palate. Beautiful aged color.

Slightly sour, but nice acidity.

So perfect! Made my mind up this should be my house wine! Pleasant on the nose smooth. Tannins mellow. Smooth strong finish

Great wine. Dark cherry, dried flowers, with a finish of plum. Medium plus body with more acidity. Great stuff.
