Garnet coloration. Some translucency. On the nose, cherry, strawberry and some leather and minerals. On the palate, cherry, strawberry, currants, leather, cigar box, spice, some chocolate and a medium to long finish. Medium bodied,and slightly more acidic than expected but not overly so. $80 at total wine.
