Bacci Wines
Re di Renieri Rosso Toscana IGT Red Bordeaux Blend
This, along with all the Renieri wines, is wonderful, an Italian expression of Bordeaux! Fragrant, a bit of violet and mocha on the nose, and cedar. On the pallet, maraschino cherry, casis, rich chocolate covered pomegranate, juicy candied cranberry, vanilla, mineral undertones, and a smooth finish. I definitely think this could benefit from a few years more, but what a fantastic wine to take to dinner!
Day two:
Way better than the first day even after an hour to two of decanting. Tightness of the wine and tannins have softened. Instead of the juicy fruit on the front, now more of the sought out complexities I originally wanted have floated to the surface. Definitely a wine to age for a while. Would love to come back to this one in due time. Ending my rating in a 92.

Whoa. Deep dark fruit (cassis, black cherry, plum) with some chocolate and oak. That's awfully good.

Dec 20th, 2020Great Tuscan expression of Bordeaux. Slightly young but delicious after an hour decant. $35? Oh yeah.

Mar 2nd, 2019Right bank goes Italian! Very good, settled down nicely from a year ago.
BlackBerry, cedar, charcoal, and smoke.
Perfect for grilled ny strip steaks.

Excellent Italian version of a right bank Bordeaux.
Still young and fairly tannic so needs time to breath...i gave it a hour prior to drinking and the first glass still had noticeable tannins. They did soften after that.
BlackBerry, blueberry, currant, a touch of smoke, and graphite. A good solid finish too.
Good value for $35

A almost nonexistent bouquet on the nose gives little hint to a average mouthfeel of pomegranate, spice, and light cherry. Medium body and firm tannin. This wine should give more considering its blend and heritage...overall it left me wishing for more.

Jun 28th, 2016Nice bouquet. Smells like seashells although I AM eating sushi so that may have some influence. Great balance. Perfect fruit : alcohol ratio. Low tannin, mid acidity, and very smooth finish. As a matter of fact if I could describe this review in one word "SMOOTH"
