Beautiful Napa nod to the motherland of rose, Provence. Tart strawberry & fresh green herbs makes it tough to peel the glass from our lips to raise a toast of best wishes for winemaker Julien Fayard as he rescues quake-downed barrels and brings in this year's harvest. Napa strong indeed!

Without a doubt a nod to Julien’s upbringing. Very Provençal with little acid, salmon colored in the glass. Strawberry, peach and stone driven on the palate.

Composed of 100% Syrah sourced from Napa Valley, the 2014 Azur Rosé is a stylish, salmon-hued sipper with lively aromas of ripe cantaloup, white peaches, Rainier cherries, and honeysuckle. I love what the acidity does, coating the palate evenly and beautifully, with minerally notes lending definition to the back palate. As it warms, silky texture comes to the fore, along with slightly fleshy texture, distinguishing this Napa pink from a typical Provence rosé after which the Azur was modeled.
