Amazing wine. Saline, rich, acid, dense, balance. Apricot and almond, strawberry, wet stone, full, rich mouthfeel. Hard to think that in the 90s when I started buying Valentini the Trebbiano and Cerasuolo were less than 20 Euro (in Lira).

This was about a year or two past peak drinking. Nonetheless, no other rose comes close. It still had tons of fruit. A rose fruitiness, with a red wine nobility (as dumb as that sounds). It opened up a lot over the course of an hour
