A bit mixed in my opinion about this wine. On one hand, it has a great saddle leather/barnyard funk with ripe cherry and plum fruits. On the other hand, it's a little heavy handed with the oak and I'm getting a bit of brambly/green pepper/vegetal aroma which really turns me off. I think this wine depends heavily on the food pairing. Maybe savory or gamey meat.

Best Cabernet under $20? Debatable of course but a strong candidate if you ask me.

Like and old school Bordeaux, this one maybe a little more peppery, insane value from @garagiste_wine
Mature in evolution, peaking or just past peak, this is in a great place for aroma and palate for total pleasure drinking casually or nerdy.

Not as captivating texturally compared to past bottles, but still in a good place. A beautiful nose the at reminds me of Bordeaux, old library smell, leather, and forest floor. The tannin is completely resolved. Drink up!

Very fun to drink though a little quirky. Nice with pasta.

A little green for my taste but a cool wine nonetheless. Needs food.

Wow! Apparently there's one more bottle of this somewhere in West Seattle. Musky, old and still drinking. But won't last long. Please drink now!

Done in a Bordeaux style with Merlot and Cab Sauv. Definite showing it's age with some barnyard funk and amber color.
