Slamming nose. Cedar, tar, tobacco, roses, very very fragrant. Palate is sleek, opulent but also reserved with juicy mid season cherry fruit and awesome velvety tannins. Wow this is a gorgeous wine. A notch up from the Ovello. Balance is near perfect. Unreal depth and so well made. Genius. So good. i’m blown away. This is the best 17 i’ve had so far.
After many hours the nose is very minty with chestnut vibes. Wow. Insanely juicy and so refined. Almost a 9.7. What high quality tannins. Stunning.

Jumps out of the glass. Tar.
P. Bright, sappy, your entire mouth is engaged.

This is the barbaresco cole.
Nose is cherry flower with some spice. Expansive. Beautiful perfume. As it opens the nose gets a bit darker. Deep Lilacs?
Palate has that quazzolo just grab you by your socks better than fruit fruit. Some spice. A hint of cherry licorice. Super fresh. As it opens a bit Plummer but still fresh.
