Beautiful nose of anise, berries, forrest, with an awesome spicy mouthfeel with pepper and cocoa and berries. Just lovely. Can’t wait to see how this evolves over the next few years.

Rust colored. Floral, barnyard, hay. Strong tannins, some nice bitterness.

First Primitivo I've had in many years, and the first I've actually liked. The ones I've had have been overripe, pruney, flat, and slightly sweet. By contrast, this is balanced, dry, and has nicely ripe fruit. Underlying it all is a nice minerally, gravelly earthiness and a bit of cigar box.

Not overly alcoholic, and there's good fruit, but not much depth. One thumb (mostly) down, Mr. Garagiste. Especially when compared to my next wine...

A nice find from @dobianchi #thanksgiving six pack showing some acidity and restraint rather than globs of fruit. Everything I want in an Italian wine.

Organic, certified. If "Redonkulous" was a choice button...this would be it. This was some crazy ass Primitivo!

Lush dark fruit but balanced with good acid. Not a huge fan of (usually very ripe) Primitivo but this is good stuff.

Fruity, very drinkable, medium to big tannins that are well managed. Beautiful body. Gorgeous color. Dark ruby.

Such a cool story and bottle. The grower harvests only the second flower which doesn’t happen every year and so this wine only gets bottled every other year, making it a special find.

Never seen a color in the glass like this one. A velvet plush hue of pink crimson and luxurious light mauve.

Subtle strawberries, raspberries, and red roses in the bouquet.

Absolutely divine. I imagine this to be the sweet honey of the demigods. Fruit punch like drinkability and yet the elegance, lightness, and sophistication of Barbaresco. Crushed rose petals, crunchy goodness.

Very memorable.
