Oct 13th, 2020Nose is ripe and a bit less expressive than the 12. But a bit vulgar and overripe. Tar, ripe cassis, and tobacco. Palate is ripe, silky and nice enough but lack energy and distinction. I’d drink this. Long finish. Pretty good purity.

I love this wine but it's not for those that like traditional Tuscan blends. This is defintely new world in style with a touch of Italy. We brought this back from Subereto a few years ago and luckily found more in Chicago at Eataly.

Cab.Sauv. and Merlot, top of range , I'm slightly unhappy with this one. Again, technically good, but very liquid at taste and structure.

Aug 6th, 2014Love this wine, it is just gorgeous although not your typical Tuscan wine, great black cherry notes. That being said, my sons milk in the bottle next to it was apparently nicer.

Jun 15th, 2014Man this was a fantastic wine. Very similar characteristics to a Cali cab with 14.5% alcohol and a whole lot of fruit. Needs hours to breathe but as this puppy opens up it becomes more and more beautiful. Had it in a little town called Subereto not far from Bolgheri, home to more awesome Super Tuscans.
