2012. 'Twas very good 2 nights ago, but so much better tonight with the whole breathing thing.

I'll be shocked if this is recognized! Del Prete does a great job of making sure nobody knows who he is, not sure that's a recipe to success but I don't think he cares! This is how Primitivo should taste, no jam, actually super dry and yummy.

Not bad, served cold

When I think about the ideal rustic Italian food wine, THIS is what I am thinking of.

Fruity, dry, good body, flavourful, easy, liked it a lot. Would be good to allow it to breathe

WOW. This wine is unforgettable. The flavors are intense and weird, but so delicious. I drank a Malbec afterwards- which normally I love and was disappointed! Because my first wine was incredible!

Bramble, smoky, smells of the cellar, fantastic! Amazing pairing with Amatriciana!!

Barn hay, cocoa powder, hint of effervescence

Nice aromatics of brambly fruits and potting soil, palate was salty, smokey, fruity, and earthy all at once. Really fun but drink the first day because it falls apart with too much air

Nicely balanced primitivo. Pleasantly tart but with some lovely fruit as well.
