Valpolicella Superiore Corvina Blend

Exotic to the core, the 2019 Valpolicella Superiore seduces with a bouquet of fresh mint, crushed wild berries, spiced orange rinds and menthol. It's racy and lifted on the palate with mineral-tinged strawberries and hints of citrus. Beautiful, elegant and classic. Dark tones of cherries and plums with tea leaf, a little brambly and very light and natural on the palette. Nice balance of acidity and light, integrated tannins. Fantastic producer and this a fun expression while staying classic

Много черных ягод, минеральность, немного замши. Приглушенно в аромате. Вкус ягодный, черника, голубика, жимолость, довольно высокая кислотность. В развитии земля и лекарственные коренья, ягоды.

Редуктивно, резина, гарные тона, сажа, черные ягоды, алкогольно. Вкус ягодный, чуть разобраный, алкогольный, с суховатыми танинами. Компот.

Honestly, smells like a sweaty sock. I guess there are notes of new leather and cherry somewhere in there but the locker room scent is a bit too strong. Dry but thin and flimsy, missing way too much.

Dave likes this more than I. To me it has a little funk and is too light. Some friends brought it over for BBQ

Very bright and very tart medium bodied palate. A tad funky.
