Nose is intensely mineral. Some Apricot and melon. Palate has nice viscosity and richness allied with intense contrasting minerality and lovely apricot fruit and honeyed note on the very long finish. Terrific. Very juicy and compact as it warms up.

@delectable Vini Marino fiano. Vendemmia tardiva

On open nose is a bit earthy. Mineral. A pleasant hint of porcini.

Palate has great tropical fruit. Very mineral. Great mouthfeel. Just feels luxurious. Really caresses the palate. Almost like a very good meursault. Delicious. A hint of unctuous was but in a good way. Just a kiss of an echo of honey tang that balances it out. Some lovely saltiness.

This wine grew on me over time and was better day 2. A more contemplative fiano- the texture demands it almost. Tons of minerality and almost absurdly dry in character. 14.5% on the bottle but didn’t feel it.
