Easily mistaken for a cru beaujo tasted blind, but has a depth & edges that say Italian. Never heard of this varietal. Jan D'Amore inport. Perfect w fresh raviolis from Arthur Ave, cracked pepper matches spice in wine

Really a very nice wine. I think I heard someone describe Rossese as an Italian Beaujolais and I somewhat agree. Great pepper, great acid, some nice earthy fruit. Aromatic and delicious. Nice wine.

Obsessed with this wine. Smooth finish, earthy, but light. Complete and versatile. Have paired it with pork and with pesto Genovese successfully.

Unusual. Starts poorly, with an odd, ‘onion skin’ taste straight out of the bottle, but soon blossoms into a quite remarkably rounded, yet light, mouthful.
