Azienda Agricola Le Caniette
Lucrezia Passerina
Very surprising
A grape variety that normally gives fruit and fun style wines
Never pretentious or overwhelming
In this case we may lack a bit of fruit, but we have a wet stone salty tingling mineral that is unheard of for a passerina and that is very rare altogether
It lingers too
Aperitif or with raw seafood i would say
I am guessing the bottle ageing has worked well for this wine..probably first time for me with a passerina 4yo

Drinking a lot better than the 2019 I had about a year ago. Gooseberry notes no longer dominate

Jun 25th, 2021Energy but too much of that simple Sauvignon thing, especially for a Passerina.
