Nero di Lupo Terre Siciliane Nero d'Avola
Fresh, low alcohol Nero D’Avola with plum, pomegranate, and iron on the nose. The palate has a sweet tart candy vibe and shows more of the black cherry, plum, and sanguine character. Light and bright without seeming green. A great wine from this biodynamic, Sicilian powerhouse.

Jammy and very drinkable. I don’t know if it’s an everyday wine for me because of the sweetness, but still it’s a very well-made wine.

Oct 1st, 2021Lighter Nero clocking in at 11.5 ABV. Perfect pair with pizza. Lighter then the 2018 which I think had a little more complexity.

Jun 8th, 2021Full, fresh nose with lemon, pomegranate (or maybe raspberry), metal. Almost crunchy on the palate, with red lollipop flavors. Long, defined finish. A great wine, and clocking in at only 10.5% ABV.
