Crazy ass wine. Nose is huge balsamic, black fruits, and god tier spice. Some raw honey notes as well. So unique. Palate is fresh, sappy and so complex. Wow the tannins are so finely grained and the fruit is so expressive. Endless finish and dazzling purity. Best bottle of this so far. What a wine.

Dec 29th, 2022Day 2 notes. Wow. Spice. Nuts. Dark black oozy fruits. Palate coating black and red berry fruit that are slippery and juicy with nice sweetness and balance. Opened last night it really needed 24 hours. Refined and elegant for such a big wine. Even delicate. Really spreads on the finish. Succulent ripe tannins.

Nose: lilacs.
Palate : sweet fruit. Delicious. Not very spice on the attack. More. A lingering spice on the finish. As this opens the best sweet licorice ever.
Terrific change of pace wine.

@delectable this is called “gran maestro.” Wow. Amazing wine. Nose is lilacs. Almost volnay. Maybe crossed with really good old school napanir Bordeaux. Sweet blackberries. Gorgeous. Very deep. Amplitude is 10/10. Huge nostril filler. Like an atomizers inside your nostrils. A $200 nose.
Palate is wonderful. A cross between a perfect blueberry and a perfect wild just picked blackberry. Fresh. Some spice. Some licorice. Insane texture. But it’s all about the balance. Just coats the palate and sticks there. Lingering finish. Juicy. Blackberry licorice. 30 seconds at least.
Needs 30 minutes to integrate.
