I don’t have much experience with Aglianico, let alone we’ll-aged Aglianico. Broad and leathery, but with good acidity. Earth. Thought it might be past its prime. But loved it on day 2 with a lamb dish spiced with cumin, coriander and ginger.

I love Aglianicos, and this is good, but it's not the best expression of the type. Has the velvety tannins and structure but not the right balance and complexity.
