So fragrant, with deep, ripe cherry/plummy liqueur scents, with a little baking spice, and some clean minerality. Soft, loads of fine-grained tannin, and decent acids. Probably not a long ager, but really pleasurable now and for the next 4-5 years. Brought back from Sondrio by my brother.

Aug 16th, 2017Fresh cherries with some plum and hint of flowers & spice. On the palate very fresh & juicy with good fruit and a nice balance. Nice length with a herby finish. Drinking beautifully right now.

Great Valtellina wine. Strong and tasteful. Perfect companion for red meat. Highly recommended.

A full, round, rather bigger version of a valtellina. Some raisin and sour cherry; firm and balanced. Great with our lunch of eggplant and parm, and tagliatelle with mushroom and sausage
