Tart apple, lemon, slate, orange zest and hint of stone fruit. Great acidity and balance.

Love the reds from scacciadiavoli. More of an after dinner sparkler if you ask me. Rich, a little gritty and funky. Stewed raspberries.

Sagrantino and Aglianico sparkling rose...wow. it's certainly delicious and a nice change of pace from the razor sharp precision of champagne. Full, wide, caramelized, strawberry elements

Not inexpensive but really refreshing and worth the price. And how often do you see sparkling Sagrantino? My first time, for sure. Pretty pink color with nose bursting with red fruits especially strawberries and rhubarb. Fully spumante, nice acid, and delightful tannins make this perfect for charcuterie.

Lovely! Red apple peel, fresh, a note of toast if it’s not too cold

Primarily Sagrantino grapes - this Sparkling Brut Rose shows a beautiful salmon/copper color. Tight stream of bubbles. Aromas of apple, rose petals and lemon. Tart apple, lemon, slate, orange zest and hint of stone fruit follow on the pallet. Great acidity and balance. Touch of tannin. A Sparkler that is reminiscent of a French Cremant.

Meh. Not very interesting. Too carbonated and too much strawberry.

Perfect for the steamy night in DC. Crisp and nicely dry; lovely color. Montefalco region of Italy.
