I liked the wine and the idea of a Loureiro in general. Coming from the base Laurel, the grape is known for its Bay Leaf like, herbal aroma and this one stepped up. Bring on the steamed Gallicism style clams...

Bright and refreshing--just what I expect of a vinho verde. What stands out to me regarding the aroma is the bay laurel, herbaceous smell. Tasting Grant Smith apples, citrus, and an undertone of herbs. Lovely for sipping on a summer day.

Light bodied with strong floral aromas (laurel, acacia, green pear, orange blossom) and uniformly brisk acidity. On the palate:,green apple, orange peel and bay leaf. Touch of salinity and citrus fruit from the Alvarinho. Summer white that works better chilled and with some seafood.

Perfect wine to sweat over on a day like this. Light bodied, bone dry, and high acid with lime, pear, underripe nectarine, and a fresh can of tennis balls on the nose. A bit more serious than most Vino Verdes I’ve encountered, with no trace carbonation.

Um vinho verde branco muito agradável, bom a acompanhar peixe grelhado e marisco
