The 2017 ‘Estate Vineyard’ by Ayoub is a show-stopping Pinot Noir that marvelously showcases this special vineyard in the Willamette Valley. The aromatic range is seriously good from the citrus zest to pomegranate seed to bright bing cherry and red raspberry to shades of rose water that all build in the glass. The silky smooth texture impresses once on the mouth. Black and red fruits dance with minerals, orange zest and damp earthy tones on the palate. Seductive, yet wonderfully poised, this sensational new wine will cellar well for the next ten to fifteen years. Drink 2019-2032- 94

The ‘Estate’ bottling by superstar winemaker Mo Ayoub was sourced from a host of vineyards in the Willamette Valley. Showing a strong translucence the wine opens with strong earthy tones of peat moss and wet stone, combining with lighter citrus and wild blackberry elements. The palate shows a soft texture, as well as a good viscosity and sense of place, with earthy terroir and red fruit flavors dominating. Drink 2018-2024- 90

Big. Plenty of oak. Good fruit. Good overall but not my style.

Pure & bold on the nose with fierce, youthful force. A bit pent-up and in need of more time but still enjoyable now!

Dynamic out of the bottle. I was hoping for a little more. It's not carrying as much weight as I hoped it would . Blackcurrent ,Cherry, black raspberry. After two hours still tight. I would wait minimum two years and try again.

Warm, with attractive toast notes that bring out darker notes. Earth and pepper, and dark red cherry. Palette lean for 09 and says Willamette Pinot.

In a big, hulking phase now, but packed with blue & black fruits primed for development. Super smooth w/ an impressively long finish.

Don't believe what you're going to read about Oregon's 2013 #wine vintage. Floral, tight, spicy, badass, put it to bed

13 wass probably one of my least favorite vintages in this area when the wines were released. But, the wines have really turned a beautiful corner. Not sure of the long term cellar possibilities but the 13’s that I’ve been trying recently have been great. Great site. Great dude, love these wines, #housewine
