Drank with OU/ucla game at dad’s house. They opened night before. Wonderful 20 year old wine. Smooth, slightly rich Merlot. Blueberries, light chocolate.

Happy anniversary to us. We were married in Cortona, Italy and discovered this wine. Now, we drink it at anniversary time. It's developed nicely since last year. Dark sweet/sour cherries, plum, blackberries, dry dark earthy presence, black cherry licorice, cherry cola, completely resolved tannins, dusty palate chalk, big acidity and nice juicy fresh fruit finish. Happy anniversary Sofia!

A bit dried out and showing pronounced oak and tannin. Guessing it has slipped into a sleepy phase as there is a dense core of licorice, plum skin and cocoa nibs. Maybe in a few years it will come around.

This is from their vineyards in cortona with a high amount of blue clay this is the name of the famous bull that was on the estate this is the breed of bulls that made the beefsteak florentine this is the breeding stock. This wine has new barrique and has a nice plummy fruit grifi is a blend of 70/40 Cabernet Sangiovese the best of the two terroir a they stopped making this in1996 because of the demand for vino nobile
