Cantaloro Toscana Sangiovese Blend

Bought but not used for a Thanksgiving meal, so became a mid week excuse to pop n’pour. No shame in a lovely & simple Tuscan blend made by a good producer- a wee bit of grip to keep the red fruits interesting

I expected more from avignonesi, there other wines are fantastic- this seems like a wine for the American palate..

Sour cherry Violet's and a slight amaro and leather note... Some green pepper and pepper corn too...Med tear and staining but really good #qpr wine!

(16/20) Аромат спелых красных ягод, поджаренного хлеба, гвоздики, ванили и белого перца. Свежая кислотность и гладкие танины. Во вкусе спелая вишня и красная смородина с нотами ванили и перца. Тёплое алкогольное послевкусие. Качественное, свежее вино с хорошо интегрированным дубом.

Rustic yet smooth

Very approachable and fairly priced. It has some classic green pepper character you should see with cab, but also some of that nice rustic italian fruit character.

Great Super Tuscan blend! The "trifecta" if you will! Big, bold, dry!

The most revolting wine I have put in my mouth in the last long time. Those are the kindest words I can muster up. My initial response got vetoed by my pals.
