Wow! Incredible find. In my recent wine tasting at Avennia, this was by far my favorite. Award-winning Merlot. Loved it that first time and each subsequent Coravin experience.

May 22nd, 201870% merlot 30% cab franc. Good right out of the bottle even before having time open. The bold earthy flavors of Merlot tempered by spicy and fruity notes of the Cab Franc. Was excellent with pasta with red sauce. Wonder if aging slightly more would improve it.

aromas give spice, cigarbox, charcuterie, thyme, dust, red and black plums and cherries....this has a gorgeous mouthfeel- red plum, earth, wood, and a little licorice all melted together.

Nice red blend. A little surprised they categorized this as a blend with it being 80% Merlot. Smooth with a nice subtle Cab Franc finish (20%).

Jan 22nd, 2017Still have a couple bottles left of this and we are definitely going to save them. Although approachable now, this wine would still benefit from some time in the bottle. Incredibly smooth the next day. Lots of fruit on this one, definitely a Merlot blend.
