Delicious, jammy, orange and clove on the nose. Our pick out of several wines with the great service at Coasterra in San Diego! — 6 years ago
Excellent, both rich and spicy while also fruity. A little high in alcohol on the palate. Definitely would enjoy again. — 7 years ago
70% merlot 30% cab franc. Good right out of the bottle even before having time open. The bold earthy flavors of Merlot tempered by spicy and fruity notes of the Cab Franc. Was excellent with pasta with red sauce. Wonder if aging slightly more would improve it. — 7 years ago
Drinkable and satisfying. Just complex enough to enjoy, simple enough to drink anytime. — 6 years ago
Bold, fruity, tannic. Could stand up to food or be great for a cool evening on its own. — 6 years ago
Wonderful notes of peach and grapefruit with the tart minerality I love about Marlborough Sauv Blancs. 2016 was a good year! — 7 years ago
This is an easy drinking rose. It does not have any of the bitter, metallic, or overly acidic qualities in some roses that can be offputting! Love love love — 6 years ago
My dad notes that Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs carry a distinct “cat piss” sourness, and while he’s not wrong - he’s actually been pro-tasting and selling wine for 4+ decades - I tend to enjoy that flavor. NOT HERE. Too heavy handed, not enjoyable at all. I made a spritzer and dumped in elderflower liqueur. It’s sort of bearable now. — 7 years ago
Solid affordable rose without the aftertaste my husband can’t stand about some rose wines. — 7 years ago
