Les Damodes Nuits St. Georges 1er Cru Pinot Noir

A handful of dirt and wild mushrooms on the nose with faint hints of tart red fruit. Palate is very dusty almost sandy but the sour cherry underneath is delicately pretty and the whole package is nicely balanced.

A little funk on the nose — mushroom barnyardy. It took its time opening up and then it was pleasant. Mature fruit and tannins. I wanted to like this more....

Yummy! Easy drinking but tasting wonderful.

Usually a big fan of this producer. Strawberry rhubarb on the palate and nose but still very green and closed.

Singing.

Cranberry, mushroom, plum, blood orange, sandalwood, incense and forest floor.

Just great. The fruit is just perfect, cranberry and cherry, with a tannic finish. The nose is perfect, as if berries met flowers.

Dark fruit, iron and mushroom.

Decanted 1h. Drinking well this young. Juicy with acidity that is tart with great red berries and some rhubarb. Age it? Delayed gratification can wait.

Delicious. Smells earthy, light and fruity, smooth, balanced finish. Awesome, thanks Ted
