Peterson Vineyard Pinot Noir

Six Pinots, all made by Ed Kurtzman, of August West and Roar fame who also consults to Freeman and Mansfield Dunn. Ed joined our tasting. Elegant

I got a touch of dark cherry liqueur and touch of zippy acidity. Kind of linear in a good way but missing any nuance

Dense!! It’s got more years to go for sure. Not fruit, more on the spice side. Will be interesting in a few years.

Lite ruby pour; delicate early spring nose with juicy red fruit palate. Will be interesting to see how well this one ages

Red fruit in spades. Smokey and charred fruit on the nose along with cinnamon and mulled spiced. Tart cherry, raspberry, cranberry, and cooked strawberry on the palate with earthy minerals and a hint of mint. Runs a bit hot, but solid acid in the finish.

Very nice, typical SLH Pinot

Good fruit and balance.
