So much going on.. dark cherry almost herbal on the nose, dark fruits, clove, medium acidity, medium low alcohol .. generous toasty oak, cigar/ tobacco... Evolves and almost intensifies with time in the glass. Love it — 18 days ago
Pear, jasmine, long zesty acidity, rice pudding, developing for 5-10 more easily. Its a dream. — 23 days ago
2018 vintage. Very fine-grained tannins, good mix of fruit and earthier notes. Fresh blackberry, black cherry, cassis, black plum, decaying leaves, leather, cedar, a little fluffy, yeasty bit I could do without, stale sage, stale allspice. Much more Bordelais than Barossa. — a month ago
I’m not usually a fan of Sauvignon Blanc, but this was a bit more complex than most. Nice melon note, with a smooth mouthfeel. Definitely a good summer wine for its crispness. Not sweet, either, which I prefer. — 24 days ago

Richly textured with predominately ripe fruits and oak notes at this young age, but in a way that somehow conveys a sense of understated elegance. Enough acidity to carry the medium to full body.
My first of this iconic Chard from down under. And it did not disappoint.
