Thank goodness for the instructions. Once had an Aubert pop n pour and it was just too tight and not expressive.

So…. This wine. Opened and decanted then back to the cellar at 55 for 3 hours and then served and drank over an hour.

Wow. Very distinctive California with great balance of fruit, oak, creaminess and soft acidity across the wine. Just a pure pleasure. This was balance. No real comparison to a site in white burgundy but right there from a quality perspective and elegance.
