Stunning! Ripe Yellow Pear, Baked Green Apple, Almond, Walnut, Caramel, and Lemon Curd on the nose. Acidity balances out a rich full-body. Clendenen is one of the Kings of Chardonnay.

Stunningly complex, mesmerising and fantastic.
Full of tertiary notes: Figs, hazelnuts, stemmed ginger, dried lemon peel, honey. Loads of caramel, baking spices, vanilla and tonka beans. Quite oxidative almost sherry like. Super bright acidity, wonderful balance and structure, a super lush and creamy finish.

A lovely chardonnay though not much buttery finish (in a good way) and mildly sweet on the midpalate. A balanced wine without too many floral nor citrus note. Paired well with roasted chicken.
