Runway’s first vintage was 2013 and the 2015 is great. Limited production from this small vineyard. Aromas of ripe sweet fruit and floral scents burst from the glass, aged in French oak for about 18-20 months (winery folks indicated only a small amount of new oak was used). On the palate intense fruit flavors of cherry and strawberry, complex subtle spice, well balanced with acidity, great mouthfeel. Fine soft tannins lingering ending. Very nice, less than 250 cases produced. Tasting Sample!

Man, always classic and always enjoyable. This is one of the most consistent pinots in the country. Jim Clendenen is the man.

Stepping away from my bold cab obsession for some pinot with pork roast tonight. Strawberries & raspberries come to mind, a little spicy.

Brilliant transparent ruby. Strawberries and subtle hint of black pepper in the nose. Even better than the delicious 2014, with more concentrated and very pure fruit, impeccable balance, velvety tannin, fresh acidity and very good length. Terrific value! 2015 vintage.Abv. 13,5%.

Heavenly, for an entry level Pinot, hitting all the right notes.

Light Ruby with aromas of red fruit and gentle spice. On the palate strawberry and blackberry with baking spices on a smooth tannin structure. Fresh finish with a medium length ending. Solid value.
