Best NZ wine I've had to this point. Really fresh cherry, wild strawberry, cranberry, some violet, there's some raw tobacco in the nose but full saturation of fruit rolls over the tongue. Softest tannins and great balance

Ruby red and full of fruit. Round, bold style that worked okay with duck and beetroot, but lacking the structure and complexity to make it beguiling.
