This was the Rioja Alavesa from Aspaldi. Super tannic with a musty bouquet. Aeration didn’t help the mustiness but helped smooth out the astringency that this wine had way too much of. Some tart blackberry and a hint of cedar/leather. Not a very good wine at all. Would never buy again.
