Good intensity, some raisin mixed in with redder fruit. Tannins still not tamed — 8 years ago
Concentrated fruit with that amarone raisin flavor peaking through. Also a european herby/leafy thing going on makes it a nice switch from similarly juicy american wine. Held up ok to beef tenderloin — 8 years ago
Very very smooth $18 rioja. Dark cherry and unsweetened chocolate, with a sort of rocky backbone, with oak really nicely blended in. Some pepper and anise on finish, like dried leaves. Maraschino cherries on the nose. Medium to light body — 7 years ago
Fruity, sour cherry and blackberry, but underneath harsh tannins. Better on 2nd day. Could be good value table wine in a few years maybe? — 8 years ago
Blackberries and cherry, typical Runquist floral notes and acidity. Deep, lush without being heavy. — 8 years ago
$11, tuesday wine candidate — 8 years ago
Berries and cedar and alcohol on the nose. Very tart berry flavor on taste, oak worked in really nicely. Smooth and deep, but tartness is almost too much. — 8 years ago
Slightly unpleasantly acidic. Cherry, spicy. — 8 years ago
Dried cranberries an excellent tasting note. Some darker fruit flavors there too, but acidity makes it feel lighter. Did not pair well with lasagna :( — 8 years ago

Cherries and pepper on the nose, and on first taste. Wild oak and chocolate comes in at middle just behind sour cherry and plums, then lingers through finish. Tannins pretty nicely it. Acidity slightly harsh.r — 7 years ago
