100% Tempranillo, deep Ruby with aromas of red and black fruit with hints of spice. Palate shows dark Berry fruit flavors, ok structure and balance, tannins were fine but somewhere grainy. Medium finish ending with spicy notes. Ok for $10 Tempranillo.

Not a “super bueno” Rioja. Had the 2021 in November of 2022. Some hints of cherry up front and a lot of tannins on the finish. Feel like the taste and mouth feel were somewhat “muddied”. I like my Riojas with more wood character and cherry quite honestly. Was okay but would not seek this one out again.

An amazing, full bodied & commanding Spanish Rioja! Sturdy, and mature with a nice juicy red fruit finish that interjects a shot of bright jelly feel at the last lingering taste. Wonderful glass - pair this with a meal or cheese!
