Just the perfect balance of fruit & acidity to this wine. Wait at least a year before enjoying a bottle after release

A gift from my good friend, @David L - thanks so much.
This is all about subtlety and finesse. Nose displays limes, almond oil, and a kiss of white fruits. Palate is soft and ethereal. Neutral oak and light acidity concludes what is a delicate presentation.

16’ Arista Banfield Chardonnay.Matt certainly makes a few rockstar Chardonnays. This certainly is one.

15’ Arista Banfield Chardonnay. Aromas of orange blossom, lemons, stones & baking spices.
The wine is silky. Notes of pear skin, lime curd & lemon butter. That mineral taste that ran through the glass in the last two years has softened. Still not as good as the 2016. Delicious anyway. Also have noticed in the last three weeks a slight bottle variation in the 15 Banfield. Has a solid 4/5 years in it. Cheers.

Drinking so much better then it was just 18 months ago. Matt is truly making sensational Burgundy.

Just sensational! Serve at cellar temperature/close to room temperature. Better then the critics scored it. One of the few times I’ve scored a wine higher then most wine critics. Aubert like!?! - at Manta - Mauna Kea , Hawaii

Young but had to try one of their Chardonnay’s This will certainly have a higher score in a couple of years.

Holy cow...rich and creamy to the core. Notes of butterscotch, citrus and melon. Extremely long finish...what a wine!
