Finally it feels like a real summer weekend in the Northeast. Time to break out the SBs. This one is new to me (though I've enjoyed their delicious Syrah from their Pritchard Hill estate). Loads of citrus, honeysuckle and a touch of bitterness (pith?) on the finish. There's a nice viscosity to the wine - it's not exactly creamy, but not overly crisp either - somewhere in between I guess. Strong acid you can really feel on the jaw and that leaves your mouth watering.
